Greater Ridgewood Youth Council After School Program at P.S. 306

The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council has a COMPASS program that welcomes students from grades K-5 at P.S. 306Q New York City Academy for Discovery. Our after school program has been at P.S. 306 for a few years now, and we will continue to do activities that are both recreational and educational with a focus on social emotional learning. The program runs Monday-Friday from 2:35pm-5:15 pm, during the school calendar year. 

The activities that the students will be participating in are Arts & Literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Dance, Musical Theater, Game Room, Fitness, Project Adventure and Sports. We will have special themed events that are held for seasonal and other cultural celebrations. The goal of the After-School Program staff is to provide an environment that is fun and safe for the students of P.S. 306.
